My Approach
I am so happy that you have made the decision to continue or to begin your mental health journey! This work can be hard to get started and it sounds like you have decided the time is right for you. Finding the right therapist can be a challenge and I would like to take some of the guesswork out for you. I always say, “Quit the therapist NOT the therapy!”
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been practicing since 2011. I have spent my career thus far devoted to working with those who have experienced trauma. I enjoy working with children, adults, couples and families.
One of my passions is working with children and caregivers. I teach trauma-informed parenting to promote secure attachment, resiliency and connection within families. I love to use play in my sessions with children as this is the language they understand best.
I offer a FREE no obligation consultation. Chat with me and ask me questions before you schedule your first therapy appointment. You are welcome to schedule your first session during consultation; however, I won’t ask you about scheduling that way you can take your time and think it over. I want you to find the right fit for your needs and I know that sometimes that takes time. I won’t be the best fit for everyone and that is OK! I want you to get all you can out of your time in therapy with the person who can support you best.
